Excellence uniting Culture, Education, and Leadership (ExCEL) is a student organization and student success program designed to help new students find academic, social, and personal balance at Texas A&M. ExCEL has assisted thousands of students in making a smooth transition to college by orienting new students to the program through a fall conference, cultivating relationships with peers and mentors, providing a sense of belonging, offering academic and personal support, and serving as a resource for transitioning into Aggie life.
The Technology Services Mentoring Program will match current and aspiring IT professionals with a mentor to answer any questions about skills needed, professional development/networking opportunities, and more. This program will accept mentees from current IT professionals, as well as student workers, who are pursuing IT-related careers and will benefit both mentors and mentees!
IISE Mentoring Program aims to provide knowledge, training, networking opportunities and recognition to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the industrial and systems engineering profession and those individuals involved with improving quality and productivity.
The purpose of Pride Mentors is to offer support and guidance to students at Texas A&M University. The program is designed for mentees to work through topics important to them including, but not limited to, career and academic goals, relationships and family problems, transitioning to college, gender and sexuality, and issues that arise in collegiate and professional settings.
The Engineering Mentorship Council is a student-led mentoring organization focused on providing freshmen engineering students with the necessary tools and guidance to have the most successful first year at Texas A&M University.
If you are a first-generation Aggie engineering student, we invite you to become part of this important program. FGEn students are paired with a faculty or staff member who is passionate about student mentoring and success. Many of our mentors are first-generation graduates themselves.
Latino Logradores (Latino Achievers) is a freshman program with three main components which helps support the success of Latino/a/x students at Texas A&M University by providing mentorship, a family atmosphere, transition from high school to college and resources that help them thrive in a college environment. This will be a freshman’s first connection to the Familia Latina where they can build long-lasting relationships, explore their culture, build networks, feel empowered, develop holistically and be a service to the local community.
