What are we about?
The Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, & Related Sciences (MANRRS) and the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) Mentoring Program is designed to assist freshman in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences who are members of underrepresented groups. The program will connect these students with a peer mentor in the college who can help guide them through their freshman year and experience at Texas A&M University. Membership in the MANRRS and/or SACNAS chapter provides additional personal and community connections, as well as academic and professional development opportunities.
