Due to the passing of Senate Bill 17 (SB-17) in 2023, the Texas A&M University (TAMU) Pride Center was recently rebranded. They are no longer able to host many of their programs, including Pride Mentors. The TAMU Queer Empowerment Council (QEC) is a student-run organization dedicated to the welfare of the LGBTQ+ community at Texas A&M. The QEC will now host Pride Mentors moving forward (2024 and beyond).

The purpose of Pride Mentors is to offer support and guidance to students at Texas A&M University. The program is designed for mentees to work through topics important to them including, but not limited to, career and academic goals, relationships and family problems, transitioning to college, gender and sexuality, and issues that arise in collegiate and professional settings.

Aggie Mentoring Network programs are open to all without regard to ethnicity, race, nation of origin, gender or sexual orientation.
